Education: Medical degree (MD) 2001, specialist in pediatrics 2011, allergology in 2016 and sports medicine in 2020. Ph.D. in in allergology 2019. Tonje Reier-Nilsen has been a consultant since 2011 and researcher since 2014 at the Department of Pediatrics, section for Allergy and Lung Diseases, Rikshospitalet, Oslo University Hospital. Here, she is has been subject manager for asthma since 2019. She also serves on the board of the Norwegian Asthma and Allergy Association. Additionally, she has been employed by Olympiatoppen, National Olympic Training Centre since 2018, where she is subject manager in breathing problems of the athlete.
