Dr Niall Elliott, sports medicine physician based in Scotland with roles as Head of Sports Medicine at the Scottish Institute of Sport as well as Chief Medical Officer for the British Olympic Association. 20 years of working in sport from grassroots rugby and ice hockey to multiple summer and winter Olympic Games. The day-job is managing the health and wellbeing of elite athletes, working closely with the wider sport performance teams which include healthcare colleagues (physiotherapists, psychologists, hospital specialists), physical preparation coaches, sport-specific coaches and the numerous levels of management.
