Dr Jill Leckey is a performance nutritionist currently working for The Australian Cycling Team. Jill has a specific interest in carbohydrate and fat metabolism and previously completed a PhD exploring different exercise-nutrient interactions and the effect on substrate metabolism and performance. Jill has published research studies in exercise metabolism and sports nutrition and is a registered nutrition practitioner and sports scientist with the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr) and Exercise and Sports Science Australia, respectively. Jill currently delivers The Australian Cycling Team performance nutrition strategy and focuses on providing cyclists with evidence-based nutrition support to maximise training adaptation, race day nutrition and promote immune function.
