Craig Flannigan is Head of Performance and Preparation at Rangers Football Club, a post that he has held since October 2015. He leads a team of sports scientists and strength and conditioning coaches to ensure players are physically and physiologically prepared for the demands of a competitive season through appropriate training, nutrition and recovery. He has previously provided sports science consultancy services to the Scottish Professional Footballers Association, Scottish Football Association national youth teams, and numerous senior professional football clubs in Scotland. His main passion is performance nutrition, an interest that spans decades, both personally and professionally. Craig is a qualified personal trainer and has competed a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, the Football Association Fitness Trainer’s Award, and the IOC Diploma in Sports Nutrition.
