A Physical Education teacher by ‘origin’, Anna has accumulated a wealth of governance, management and administrative experience in educational institutions and sport governing bodies at national, regional, and international levels. Over 20 years have been spent, to date, serving the Olympic Movement. After 9 years as the first female to be appointed to the post of Secretary General of the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee, she stepped down in December 2020 to pursue an interest in sport development activities at continental level; she is currently attached to World Rowing as a Consultant – Development Manager for Africa. At local level, Anna chairs the National Anti-Doping Coordinating Committee, and the National Sports Academy Board. At Regional level, she is the appointed representative for ANOCA Zone VI on the Southern African Regional Safe and Inclusive Sport Task Team. Her international responsibilities include sitting as a member on the IOC Athletes’ Entourage Commission and the WADA Education Committee; she has served on Working Groups under the IOC, World Rowing, WADA and Women Sport Internation
