Assessment
Assessment will be through a range of assignments, reports, presentations, multiple choice questionnaires and examinations. The assessment procedures are designed to ensure that students develop a range of skills and knowledge as outlined under ‘Intended Learning Outcomes’. Full details of assignment and examination requirements will be provided in the Handbook that accompanies each Program.
Assessment for each year of the program will include:
All assignments will be marked by the Module Tutor or by the Tutor’s designated deputy. Students will be provided with written feedback on their performance in all assignments within 28 days of the submission date. Results of the online tests will be available within 7 days of the specified test dates for each module.
The Academic Advisory Board for the program will also have an opportunity to see all written work and will be provided with results of the online tests.
Assignments
Written assignments must be submitted at regular intervals throughout the program. These assignments are an integral part of the program and are designed to complement the taught material contained in each module. Assignments take different forms, to give students experience of preparing written work in different formats.
Details of assignment work will be provided with the program materials on registration for each module.
