Rebecca is a Sport Dietitian from Australia. Having completed the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Nutrition Fellowship and IOC Diploma in Sports Nutrition back in 2014 to 2015, Rebecca then went on to work with Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (OWIA) to pursue her interest in Winter Sports. She then took on an incredible role with the Canadian Sports Institute Pacific based in Vancouver, British Columbia to be closer to the mountains and work with some incredible sports including middle distance athletics, Snowboard Canada, High Performance Swimming, and the Women’s National Soccer team. Since returning to Australia in 2017, Rebecca has worked on a masters by research with the University of the Sunshine Coast. Her research focuses on haemoglobin mass increases and the periodisation of iron supplementation for athletes at moderate altitude. She has also been heavily involved in dietary standardisation for large scale research projects with the AIS and Australian Catholic University (ACU) looking at carbohydrate manipulation in elite race walking. She currently works as a lecturer at ACU and has returned to working with the fabulous athletes and team at OWIA.
