Jemima joined UK Sport in 2013 and is the Standards Manager with responsibility for Safeguarding and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion. Her role includes managing relationships with the NSPCC Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU), the Ann Craft Trust, liaising with the four Home Country Sports Councils on safeguarding, and supporting funded NGBs and partner organisations. Prior to joining UK Sport Jemima worked for Swim Ireland as their Education Manager leading the Swim Ireland Education Programme and Scottish Swimming as their Youth Development Manager where she led the implementation of their Learn to Swim Programme across Scotland. An Australian, Jemima’s favourite sport is swimming where she started as an athlete before taking up coaching and teaching roles in Australia and Singapore. Jemima is a graduate of Deakin University, Melbourne and of the Royal Military College, Canberra and held a commission in the Australian Army Reserve. Jemima now uses this experience to work with young people in the Army Cadet Force.
