Mr. Szymanski is a third year PhD student under Dr. Douglas Casa at the Korey Stringer Institute in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Connecticut. He is also the Lab Manager of the MISSION Heat Lab and Director of Education at the Korey Stringer Institute. Additionally, Mr. Szymanski is an instructor within the Athletic Training Program at the University of Connecticut where he teaches Emergency Procedures in Athletic Training alongside Dr. Douglas Casa. Mr. Szymanski has multiple publications surrounding thermophysiology, hydration, and exertional heat illnesses. Mr. Szymanski received his Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Central Michigan University and his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Salisbury University.
